Cedarfield is a well-established HOA within a mature wooded neighborhood with lovely landscaped areas and entrances. This popular area is the ideal location for those seeking a tranquil life with access to lots of outdoor recreation. The area contains several nature preserves and part of the town borders North Carolina’s largest man-made freshwater lake, Lake Norman. Lake Norman has an abundance of wildlife; locals make use of the fishing and boating opportunities the lake affords. The lake community of Huntersville is in proximity to the city of Charlotte, making commuting for work and play easy, and allowing residents to take advantage of the great shopping, restaurants, art facilities, and culture.
 
 
Huntersville is the 19th largest municipality in the state of North Carolina. In addition to being just 12 miles away from Charlotte, this area is within driving distance to stunning mountains and beautiful beaches. Huntersville has its excellent restaurants, parks, and shopping areas and is home to the annual Carolina Renaissance Festival — the festival takes place on weekends in October and November.
 
Cedarfield has a great range of amenities with a clubhouse available for residents to hire and a six-lane swimming pool with a shallow area suitable for children. The community has a swimming club open to all residents. There’s a large open area that is used for soccer practice and community events such as the HOA’s annual Easter egg hunt.
