The Town of Mooresville offers ten public parks, including its
newest Bellingham Park with 47 acres of walking and bike
trails, a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits and a playground.
Not only Bellingham Park, but there are numerous parks for your
family to enjoy. The Mooresville YMCA boasts a wide array of
exercise equipment and classes, as well as children's after-school
activities and youth sports. The Town of Mooresville also has a
regulation par-72 golf course open to the public year-round as
a self-supporting department of the Town. Lasty, the Mooresville
Public Library provides educational, informational, recreational,
and cultural resources for people of all ages and interests.
Just north of Mooresville is the Lake Morman State Park of
Troutman. This is the only place where public swimming is
allowed from Lake Norman shores. The park also offers boat
ramps, picnic shelters, campsites and hiking trails.
